About RI Free Press

RI Free Press is a Rhode Island information platform that brings local news, community updates, business stories, and useful resources together in one place.

We curate information from local publications, official sources, and community organizations, alongside our own features and business profiles. Our goal is to help readers discover what’s happening across Rhode Island and connect with the people, places, and businesses that make our state distinctive.

Local Businesses. Local Stories.

Behind every local business is a story—an idea, an investment, and people working to make it succeed. RI Free Press gives those stories a place to be shared.

Through business profiles, photographs, and community coverage, we introduce readers to local businesses and the people behind them. We also connect readers with Izadex, an online, category-based, searchable directory of business card images and publisher of curated business card directory magazines.

Together, these platforms help people discover local businesses and find the information they need to connect.

Useful Information, Clearly Presented

From news and events to food, entertainment, travel, and business, we make Rhode Island information easier to explore. We link to original sources so readers can learn more directly from the organizations and publications providing the information.

Sponsored business features and advertising help support our work and are identified as paid content.
