Rhode Islanders looking for a fall outing still have two days to visit the Scituate Art Festival, which is celebrating its sixtieth edition on the Village Green in North Scituate.

The festival began Saturday, October 10, and continues Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday’s final session runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the organizers. The event is scheduled to operate rain or shine.

Original artwork, handmade crafts and antiques let visitors explore the outdoor marketplace. The festival’s official announcement also highlights a food court supporting local nonprofit organizations, an exhibitor donation raffle and live musical entertainment. scituateartfestival.org

Sunday’s published stage schedule lists The Driftwoods from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Elvis tribute performer Robert Black from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Performances take place in Section D and are free, although organizers caution that outdoor concerts remain subject to weather conditions. scituateartfestival.org

Rhode Island Recommends included the festival in its fall events guide, updated October 10, describing the village green’s transformation into a marketplace for the holiday weekend. The organizer’s own schedule confirms both remaining days and their closing times. Rhode Island Recommends

Visitors planning a trip can use Sunday’s longer hours or Monday’s earlier finish to shape their itinerary. Comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to changing autumn conditions are sensible choices for an outdoor event.

Before heading out, check the festival website for directions, parking information and any entertainment updates. The remaining window closes Monday afternoon, making this a timely option for a weekend excursion.
