Taste of Rhode Island Returns to Warwick With Limited Tickets Remaining

Rhode Island food lovers have a midweek tasting trip ahead as Taste of Rhode Island returns to the Crowne Plaza Pavilion in Warwick on Wednesday, October 14.

Rhode Island Monthly’s October 7 dining update lists the Winter Showcase from 6 to 9 p.m. The event brings restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries, distilleries and specialty food businesses together, giving visitors a chance to sample several local producers in one evening.

The organizer says all tastings are included with admission. Its website warns that general admission tickets are limited, VIP admission is sold out, and tickets will not be sold at the door.

That makes advance planning important. Anyone considering attending should use the Eventbrite link supplied by the organizer and check the current ticket listing before making arrangements. The organizer identifies that listing as the only authorized ticket source and cautions against offers from other sellers.

Beyond the tasting tables, the advertised program includes live music from Dr. Slick and the Taste of Rhode Island Food and Drink Awards. The event offers a way to discover unfamiliar businesses while revisiting names already known around the state.

For participating food businesses, a shared showcase puts their products directly in front of potential customers. For visitors, the format can turn a night out into a list of restaurants, bakeries or beverage producers to explore afterward.

The practical takeaway is simple: choose your companions, arrange the evening, and buy ahead if tickets remain. Arriving without admission will not provide a way into this year’s showcase.
