T.F. Green Named Best Domestic Airport for Second Consecutive Year
Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport has earned the top domestic airport ranking in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, giving the Ocean State’s aviation gateway national recognition.
The 2026 readers’ survey placed the Warwick airport first for the second consecutive year. The Rhode Island Airport Corporation announced the honor on July 7.
T.F. Green received a score of 85.16.
Readers evaluated airports on access, check-in and security, restaurants and bars, shopping, and design. According to the airport corporation, voters particularly valued Green’s convenience and ease of navigation.
The recognition highlights features that matter to travelers at both ends of a trip: reaching the terminal, finding their way through it and having useful amenities before departure.
Airport corporation president and CEO Iftikhar Ahmad credited employees, vendors and airline partners for the consecutive wins and thanked passengers who participated in the voting.
Located in Warwick near Providence, the airport serves Rhode Island and attracts travelers from nearby Massachusetts and eastern Connecticut.
For residents planning a vacation, the award provides another reason to consider their home airport when comparing flight options. For visitors, it puts Rhode Island’s arrival point in the spotlight before their exploration of the state’s cities, coastline and communities.
